Call of Duty: Mobile has embraced Halloween in its biggest way yet. Season 9, which launched on 14 October 2026, is built around a supernatural rivalry between vampires and werewolves, and it is the game's first season shaped by a community vote. Players choose a faction, complete missions for their side, and earn rewards tied to the team they backed.
At the centre of the season is Fang Wars, the faction event that asks you to pledge allegiance as soon as you log in. Vampires can earn the SO-14 Moonlit Marksman rifle, a weapon built for long-range encounters, while werewolves receive the Type 25 Lone Wolf assault rifle, better suited to fast, close-quarters combat. The choice is more than cosmetic: it shapes which rewards you chase and how you approach seasonal missions.

The season also introduces Leader's Kill Confirmed, a twist on the classic Kill Confirmed mode in which each team has a designated Leader, a mech-equipped Operator visible to both sides throughout the match. Hunting the enemy Leader, and protecting your own, adds a layer of strategy to a mode that usually rewards pure aggression. The free Battle Pass adds the Grav assault rifle, designed for ranged engagements with high bullet velocity, alongside horror-themed Operator skins, weapon blueprints and calling cards.
Seasonal events keep the Halloween mood going beyond the main mode. Call of the Dead celebrates Mexico's Day of the Dead festival, rewarding players who collect 100 Howlbones with a skeletal K-9 Unit skin called Fantasma, while Attack of the Undead returns to haunted versions of Hacienda and Standoff. Returning playlists from earlier Street Fighter and Honkai Impact 3rd collaborations give long-time players another chance at content they may have missed.
For Android players, Season 9 is a good moment to return or to start. The faction event gives every match a sense of belonging, the new mode rewards teamwork, and the Battle Pass offers a clear progression path through the spooky season. Choose your side wisely, though: in a war between vampires and werewolves, loyalty, it turns out, has its rewards.
